  • Most of the work is straightforward and fits into your normal routine. You will have a 30-minute follow-up session every 2 weeks and can implement strategies gradually. Tracking progress and making tweaks will not take hours each day.

  • I intentionally work with clients online to make it easy to fit our sessions into your day. If you’re newly postpartum with a very young child, you’re welcome to have them nearby during our calls. For toddlers or older children, I recommend finding a quiet moment just for you so you can fully focus on what we discuss and get the most out of our time together.

  • No. We focus on small, practical tweaks that fit your life, preferences, and schedule. There are no restrictive rules but strategies that actually work for your body and your family.

  • Absolutely. Everything is designed to be flexible. Meals, supplement recommendations, and routines are adaptable so you can keep making progress no matter what your week looks like.

  • As a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, my services fall under holistic, root-cause nutrition support rather than medical nutrition therapy, which is what most insurance companies cover. Because Colorado does not license nutritionists or FNTPs, insurance typically won’t reimburse these services. I’m happy to provide an itemized receipt if you’d like to use HSA funds, which many clients do, and I can offer guidance for that process.

  • Everyone is different, but most moms notice subtle changes within a few weeks such as more consistent energy, calmer moods, or improved digestion. Over the 5 months, these small wins add up to lasting changes you can see and feel.

  • Standard blood labs give a snapshot of what’s happening in your body at a single moment in time. HTMA looks at your mineral and nutrient levels over several months, giving insight into patterns affecting your energy, digestion, hormones, and stress response. This means we can see the underlying imbalances that might not show up on routine blood work and target the areas that will actually help you feel better. 

  • HTMA is a valuable test at any time, but there are a few key windows I highly recommend. From about 3 to 18 months postpartum is ideal, so we can see how your body is recovering and which nutrients need support for energy, mood, and healing—setting you up for long-term success. Before trying to conceive is another great time, helping you build a strong foundation for pregnancy. During pregnancy, it can still provide helpful insights for supporting energy, digestion, and stress, though results may reflect both pre-pregnancy and pregnancy changes.

  • There is never a wrong time to get 1:1 Nutritional Therapy support. All recommendations are tailored to your stage, whether you are trying to conceive, pregnant, postpartum, nursing, or a few years into motherhood. I love working with pregnant & nursing mothers and prioritize safety, nourishment, and what actually works for your body right now.
